Full-resolution WebP artwork with print-safe margins. Review the guidance below before use.

How to use it

  1. Choose one feeling to explore and give each level your own meaning.
  2. Add colors, pictures, body clues, or words that fit your experience.
  3. Point to a level that feels closest right now, or skip the check-in.

Reflection prompts

  • What helps you notice when the feeling is changing?
  • What support might fit at different levels?
  • Who could you tell if the feeling becomes hard to manage?

Facilitator guidance

Build anchors collaboratively and treat the scale as personal. A higher number describes intensity, not goodness, badness, or behavior.

Adaptations & accessibility

  • Use objects, stickers, or gestures instead of numbers.
  • Use fewer levels or a horizontal version for easier scanning.
  • Offer a nonverbal choice to pass.

Review considerations

Standard licensed-clinician review required before use.
