Full-resolution WebP artwork with print-safe margins. Review the guidance below before use.

How to use it

  1. Choose one or more sections: see, hear, touch, smell, taste or other.
  2. Name or mark a few neutral details that are present right now.
  3. Skip any sense, move farther away, or use a support device if needed.
  4. Stop when you have enough information about the present space.

Reflection prompts

  • Which details felt neutral or useful to notice?
  • Which senses or supports would you choose next time?
  • What do you need before continuing?

Facilitator guidance

Offer this as optional orientation, not a demand to calm down. Check sensory sensitivities and avoid directing attention toward distressing body sensations or environmental cues.

Adaptations & accessibility

  • Use only vision, sound, or another preferred channel.
  • Use a communication device, pointing, or yes/no choices.
  • Notice objects at a distance or use a neutral picture.

Review considerations

Standard licensed-clinician review required before use; sensory accessibility and trauma-informed choice must be preserved.

This is a layout-complete draft. Complete the stated clinical, accessibility, and local-policy review before client use or publication.
